Shelby Oaks is tense and moody, striking the exact atmosphere that makes for a comfortable horror flick. It’s not too gruesome but not toothless either.
The Mastermind achieves what it set out to do, but it's as close as you'll get to watching a movie about paint drying without it actually being about paint drying.
