Name of new Hazelight game possibly uncovered by leaker

Reliable leaker, billbil-kun alleges they know what the name of Hazelight Studios’ next game is. The leaker has a near-flawless track record when it comes to PlayStation Plus leaks.

On Dealabs (translated via DeepL), the leaker asserts that the game will be called Split Friction and will be co-op like the rest of the studio’s library. Supposedly, the game has been in development for at least two years.

Based on some of the sticky notes, it’s also believed the game will redefine the way this game uses split-screen with some sort of “dynamic split-screen” feature. We’re not positive what this will look like yet, but as previously established, we don’t have a super long time to wait, with the game likely set to be announced during this year’s The Game Awards in December.

It’s also possible a further teaser may creep in during next month’s 10-year anniversary celebration, but we’re sure TGA is going to feature this new game.
