New Hazelight Studios game to be announced this year

Hazelight Studios, the developer behind the critically-acclaimed A Way Out and It Takes Two, might be looking at revealing its next new game amid its 10-year anniversary later this year. At this time, next to nothing is known about this new venture.

Over on Twitter, Hazelight shared a post commemorating studio founder Josef Fares accepting an BAFTA award for Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons. In the post, it notes that it does have a project to talk about, but now’s not the time, and fans will have to wait until later this year for more details.

Since Brothers’ release, Fares founded Hazelight and has released two highly-successful games hinging on co-op . Needless to say, we expect that same thing from its next game, which has been rather hush-hush, just that it will blow people away, based on an interview with Push Square back in 2021. Back then, though, it was in the conceptual phase, so no doubt it’s further down the pipeline now.
