Hazelight Studios confirmed to reveal new game at The Game Awards

It was all but confirmed that co-op-centered Hazelight Studios was going to reveal its next game during this year’s The Game Awards. After months of rumors spreading, studio founder Josef Fares confirmed.

On Twitter, Hazelight teased some things you can expect from the new game, which is most likely dubbed Split Fiction. He also shared aspects like the game’s protagonists, Mio and Zoe, mo-capped by Kaja Chan and Elsie Bennett, who are based on his real-life daughters.

Based on the video, the reveal will be more than a short cinematic and will show some gameplay. We’re sure any fan of Hazelight, which has a reputation for solid co-op adventures that stick with the player, has their heads turned.

The Game Awards kicks off tomorrow.
