Spider-Man 2 update launches in March with New Game+ and more

The highly anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 update featuring New Game+, new suits, and more is closer than we expected. However, players will continue to be kept in suspense until a complete list of features is made available closer to release.

As revealed on Twitter, Insomniac Games plans for it to go live on March 7.

Insomniac has previously said it listened to player feedback for this upcoming major update. That feedback included options for changing the time of day during free roam, new suits, a more challenging New Game+ difficulty, and more.

Spider-Man 2 was one of the best-received titles of 2023, being nominated for seven Game of the Year awards yet winning none. Nonetheless, in our review, we regarded Spider-Man 2 as “great fun — a very concise package of technically exceptional set pieces webbed together by compelling characters dealing with friendship, loss, and trauma.” We hope that this major update will give fans a compelling reason to return to New York City and experience new fun challenges alongside their favorite web heads.

We’ll keep you updated once Insomniac reveals more.
