The latest reveals from January 2024’s State of Play

PlayStation revealed quite a bit of information on anticipated titles and brand-new titles that are coming to PlayStation. All of this information comes from the PlayStation State of Play.

Everything announced at the State of Play

    • Helldivers 2 got a wonderful mech-focused trailer ahead of the game launching on February 8.
    • The highly anticipated Stellar Blade has received a release date, and it’s sooner than we thought, releasing on April 26.
    • Sonic Generations is getting remade along with a new release titled Sonic x Shadow Generations.
    • Otaku’s unite! Zenless Zone Zero from Hoyoverse is officially coming to PlayStation.
    • An even deeper look at Foamstars, which is coming to PlayStation Plus on February 6.
    • Dave the Diver is making a splash on PlayStation in April, and coming with it is a Godzilla DLC!
    • Another fantastic game is making the transition to PlayStation; V Rising is on the way.
    • A brand-new Silent Hill game, Silent Hill: The Short Message, was announced and it is free-to-play and you can play it right now!
    • An even better look at the remake of Silent Hill 2 has us excited, although there is still no release date.
    • The BioShock creator has a project for fans, Judas, which looks a lot like BioShock.
    • A new Metro game is coming, and it looks to convey the fear of the Metros in a brand new way, in VR.
    • Another VR title was announced, Legendary Tales. With Mjollnir in hand, expect a February 8 release.
    • We got a better look at Dragon’s Dogma 2 with a dive into a new location.
    • Climb, glide, and dive into Western weaponry in Rise of the Ronin.
    • Until Dawn is getting a remaster for PS5 and PC.
    • Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is coming in 2025 and features a guitar gun and cyborg samurai!
    • Hideo Kojima also announced a brand-new action espionage game that will bridge movies and games in a new way.
    • Lastly, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is getting its very own State of Play
