Yooka-Replaylee is content-complete, release date to be shared “soon”

Yooka-Replaylee, the remaster to the 2017 Banjo-Kazooie spiritual successor, Yooka-Laylee, is content-complete, meaning the studio is now deep in the QA process.

On social media, publisher PM Studios shared a short update, stating the game still has a “way to go” before it actually releases. The team is busy finding and fixing bugs and polishing it up at this time.

Now, while a concrete release date isn’t public, Playtonic has previously on a video shared that the game will release this year. So, barring some sort of sudden delay, we don’t have too much of a wait. Moreover, some speculate Yooka-Replaylee will make an appearance at tomorrow’s Indie World showcase, which was just announced earlier this week, hosted by Nintendo.
