Starfield releases on Playstation 5 with brand new expansions

Bethesda has officially announced Starfield’s release on the PlayStation 5, which will feature exclusive mechanics like touchpad inputs for switching camera perspectives and equipping reliable tools like the map and hand scanner. It will run with the most up-to-date content akin to the Xbox and Steam versions, including its upcoming DLC packs.

Free Lane and Terran Armada are the new DLC packs designed to widen the game’s overall scope. Free Lane is the free expansion that expands the Settled Systems with new opportunities and resources, such as new resources and Starborn abilities. Terran Armada is the new Story DLC that brings a new hostile, robotic faction into the Starfield universe, opening new rewards and discoveries during the galactic war for “Unity.” The new pair of expansions will launch for its available platforms on April 7, 2026, just in time to welcome the new PlayStation port.
