Silent Hill 2 Remake passes 1 million sales

Following its recent release earlier this month, Konami has revealed that the Silent Hill 2 remake has surpassed a million copies sold. The game has faced widespread acclaim from critics and fans alike.

Konami revealed on PRTimes (via GamingBolt) that the game has surpassed the milestone after a measly three days on the market. Frankly, it would be interesting to see a more update sales chart.

It’s hard to say whether this number will continue to grow, but what is certain is even a good number of skeptics of the Bloober Team remake have moved to the other side and praised it for what it’s done, even though some blunders happened along the way. The game even captured the original game director who finds the camera more manageable in the remake.
