Nintendo confirms new Partner Showcase slated for this week

Nintendo has finally confirmed the return of the Partner Direct amid rumors of the event getting revive. The event will be held on Wednesday.

On Twitter, the official Nintendo account revealed the news, noting it will be around 25 minutes long and focus on games heading to the Switch in the first half of the year. Outside of that, we don’t know much about what to expect.

It’s been a while since the last Nintendo Direct, dating back to September 2023, which held some hard-hitting announcements like the Mario vs. Donkey Kong remake, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake, and more details about Princess Peach: Showtime! and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD.

Frankly, it’s surprising it’s taken Nintendo this long to show up for the party, with the event kicking off Wednesday at 6 AM PST, 9 AM EST.
