New Star Wars Outlaws showcase shows us stealth, combat, ship mechanics, and more

A new preview video has surfaced of Star Wars Outlaws showing us 10 minutes of the upcoming action adventure game. We’ve got just a little over a month to go.

IGN shared the footage, showing us Kay tracking down a Jawa technician in order to install a laser turret to her ship, the Trailblazer. In return, she’ll bring a tooth from a sarlacc’s second mouth. The mission seemed like the perfect to showcase much of the game’s mechanics, showing us some traversal, combat against some bandits, stealth, and later some ship-bound combat.

Developed by Massive Entertainment, Star Wars Outlaws has already made brief stirs within the industry. We can also say no swimming will be involved and it will be a fairly middle-of-the-road sized game clocking in at around 30 hours.

Smash Jump’s Nicole is hopeful, but is keeping a healthy dose of skepticism on hand.

Star Wars Outlaws releases on August 30, 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
