“Destined for Rebirth,” the newly released action-packed trailer lays out all the high stakes ahead of the game’s February 29 release. Rebirth is a PS5 timed exclusive, meaning that other platforms will have to wait a bit more to experience it.
In the trailer on YouTube, Cloud and company are faced with the surmounting threat of resident sultry boogeyman, Sephiroth. Yet the entire world, not just Midgar, is now at stake. Rebirth ups the ante and provides players with an open world that can now be explored at your will.
Rebirth is one of the most anticipated titles of 2024. It looks like Square Enix is moving past the corridor gameplay of Final Fantasy VII Remake, while also increasing the cast of characters to include fan favorites Red XIII, Yuffie, Vincent Valentine, and Cid, among others. Rebirth takes the series into uncharted territory as it deviates from the original events of the revered Final Fantasy VII. It’s now anyone’s guess as to where the story will take us.
