Metaphor: Refantazio takes home 3 awards at The Smash Jump Awards

Atlus’ Metaphor: Refantazio takes home a trio of awards at this year’s The Smash Jump Awards. This hit JRPG saw a strong start at launch.

During yesterday’s The Smash Jump Awards, we bestowed the Japanese title Best RPG, Outstanding Story & Narrative, and Outstanding Original Score and Music.

Within the Best RPG category, it had stiff competition, duking it out with Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, and fellow Atlus title, Unicorn Overlord.

Its other two categories saw it pitted against Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Emio — The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II in the Outstanding Story & Narrative. Meanwhile, it had to step up its beat game to come out on top against Astro Bot, Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Unicorn Overlord.
