New Atlus game, Metaphor: ReFantazio, goes beyond 85K peak players

Atlus’ Metaphor: ReFantazio has been far and away a success with a strong ability to hold player attention and foster an audience. The game has managed to capture a big concurrent player count.

Looking at its SteamDB page, Metaphor: ReFantazio broke its debut peak player count of 61,838. Now, its new peak is a whopping 85,961. At the time of writing, the game has a concurrent player count of over 66K.

It’s worth noting that not only is this stat is impressive for any of Atlus’ games, especially a new IP, but also this just taking into consideration Steam players, not even touching those playing on PlayStation or Xbox. Beyond being a “talk of the town type of game,” it sold over a million copies in a mere six hours.
