What do you think about Krafton’s acquisition of Tango Gameworks?

Acquisitions are often not fun for studios, but in this case, it was the lifeline Tango Gameworks needed to stay alive after Microsoft suddenly shut it down back in May. It was a weird decision full of mostly hatred from the community.

It led to people review bombing (in a positive way) Hi-Fi Rush and a slew of info dumping, like its desire to make a sequel. But, with the closure, it proved — at to Microsoft — it doesn’t matter if your games are bops (pun very much intended) with the community, you’re still just as likely to get shut down alongside studios that failed to produce quality games… and then it’ll turn around and say it needs more “smaller games” in what feels like rubbing salt in the wound.

Now, though, South Korean studio Krafton, best known for PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds (PUBG), is at the helm and our biggest question is what do you think?
