Grasshopper Manufacture is hosting a new showcase

Japanese game developer Grasshopper Manufacture is prepping for a new showcase later this week, poised to give us a glimpse into the studio’s upcoming projects. This will mark the studio’s second Grasshopper Direct in general.

On X, the developer assured fans that it’s working its “asses off” to ensure the showcase is ready on time after its previous showcase last year faced some hitches, leading to the showcase dropping an hour or so after its initial plan. We also don’t know the exact time yet, but we assume we’ll hear more about that either later today or tomorrow.

At this time, we have no clue what this Grasshopper Direct has in store for us. We can suspect more info on Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered and Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, which comes out October 31 and September 25, respectively. It’s also likely we”ll learn more about Slitterhead and possibly more about this new title Suda51’s working on. We also assume it’ll be a rather short event, considering the previous year was only around 11 minutes.

Regardless of what Grasshopper Manufacture has in store, we’re sure it’s gonna be a spectacle to behold, especially if it does drop on time sometime on July 31.
