A new game is in the works over at Goichi Suda’s Grasshopper Manufacture as the release of a Shadows of the Damned Remaster draws near. Of course, we know basically nothing about this brand-new title.
Speaking with 4Gamers (via Gematsu), Suda, who is largely known to the community as Suda51, has taken this as a chance to tease the new game, alongside getting people hyped about the remaster. Currently, we at least know this remaster is slated for a 2024 release window, but we should know more about this game sometime next year if the statement from fellow Grasshopper staffer, Ren Yamazaki, is anything to go by.
Now, it should be noted that Yamazaki only believes it will have something to show, so it’s all too possible that what we’ll get will be nothing more than a re-showcase of the logo or some small reveal. It was previously revealed in June during a special broadcast featuring a sole image, so needless to say, people are excited to see what’s happening.
“2024 will be a lively year for Grasshopper. A remaster of Shadows of the Damned will be released. And we are hard at work on a new title!”
