Tom Cruise promises to keep making movies into his 100s

Tom Cruise is probably best-known for his Mission: Impossible line of films, where he stars as Ethan Hunt, with the latest film, Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, making its rounds around the world, showcasing the final showing of Cruise as the protagonist of the series. But, it won’t be his last film and advanced age won’t change that, either.

Speaking with THR, he amended a previous comment about how he’ll be making films into his 80s, though, it was amended not to lower the age the 62-year-old would continue to make films, rather it was to raise it. The filmmaker now asserts that he’ll be making movies into his 100s.

“I actually said I’m going to make movies into my 80s; actually, I’m going to make them into my 100s.”

Just because Cruise is no longer stepping back into the shoes of Hunt, though, doesn’t mean the series is entirely over, with Fandango reporting that the series will continue and new ideas are already brewing.
