The second Demon Slayer movie will be released next year

The first of three Demon Slayer movies based on the Infinity Castle Arc finally has a release date after an exciting tease at Brazil’s CCXP.

The trailer was revealed at the event and later uploaded to YouTube; while not much new footage was shown, one major thing was revealed. The first movie in the trilogy will be released sometime next year.

The Infinity Castle Arc covers chapters 140 to 183 which is roughly close to the finish of the manga, which ends at chapter 205. The movie adaptations for this arc are expected to contain the Sunrise Countdown Arc which highlights the last chapters of the manga.

Along with the release date confirmation, a new game was announced as well. Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – Hinomaki Chronicles 2 is also set to release in 2025, more than likely in line when the movie releases.
