Slurry of Cartoon Network shows suddenly leave Max

A number of iconic Cartoon Network programming has been pulled from Max out of nowhere. Warner Bros. has been making some odd decisions regarding its animated legacy for some time.

Spotted by Gizmodo, cartoons like Chowder, We Bare Bears, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, and more have — without warning — been yoinked off the service. Interestingly, this leaves these shows with Hulu as your option.

As of late, Warner Bros. has been doing a lot of bizarre decisions beyond the gaming sphere. It’s shuttered Boomerang, canceled in-production shows and projects, and shut down the official Cartoon Network website, which fostered clips and free full episodes of new and old shows. Attempting to visit the Cartoon Network website now leads to a message telling fans to subscribe to Max.

Needless to say, it seems rather bitter that Warner Bros. seems so willing to cut its potential market by trimming out some iconic shows.
