Coyote vs. Acme heads to theaters next year

Coyote vs. Acme has finally revealed its theatrical release window, giving us something to look forward to for next year. The film was infamously canceled before Ketchup Entertainment saved it.

During a San Diego Comic-Con panel (via IGN), star Will Forte revealed the film will head to theaters late August next year.

The film itself follows Wile E. Coyote launching a lawsuit at Acme for all the failed attempts at capturing the Roadrunner and faulty products. Forte stands by his side as his lawyer with John Cena being on Acme’s side. The film’s cancelation came somewhat out of nowhere, as the film was largely done and screened very well with audiences, making the decision to shelve it that much more confusing.

With Ketchup at the helm, though, here’s hoping the film can make Warner Bros. kick itself for not believing in the flick.

Coyote vs. Acme hits theaters on August 28, 2026.
