Xbox Games Showcase and a “mystery” Direct air June 9

The Summer Xbox Games Showcase will be livestreamed on June 9, starting at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. This is followed by a mysterious “[REDACTED] Direct.”

As announced on the official Xbox Wire, the Xbox Showcase will be the first Showcase featuring games from the portfolio of studios across Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios. This is exciting news, especially as the Showcase is followed by a secretive [REDACTED] Direct.

As per The Verge sources, the [REDACTED] Direct is reportedly related to the next Call of Duty game developed by Treyarch. Gamers may also look forward to potential release dates and more details for a variety of upcoming heavy hitters, including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Avowed, Ara, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, as well as Starfield’s new expansion, Shattered Space. With such an impressive potential line-up, this may very well shape up to be a truly great Showcase.
