What to know about Resident Evil Requiem launch

Capcom presented news over Resident Evil Requiem’s launch, which is currently still launching on February 27, 2026. Pre-orders are currently available with the bonus Apocalypse costume for Grace. There are even exclusive Resident Evil Requiem items available in Fortnite when purchasing the game through the Epic Games Store. 

The game will launch in two versions: standard and deluxe edition. The most premium version will include the main game along with the following:

  • 5 costumes (Grace’s Dimitrescu outfit)
  • 4 weapon skins (S&S M232 Apocalypse weapon skin)
  • 2 screen filters (Apocalypse)
  • 2 charms (Mr. Racoon Charm)
  • Raccoon City Classic audio pack
  • In-game files of the 1998 letters

The overview video also announced Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition coming to Nintendo Switch 2. Both games will launch along with Resident Evil Requiem as separate releases and the exclusive Generation Pack bundle. The exclusive Nintendo Switch 2 bundle sale will end on March 31, 2026.

Capcom even presented more Nintendo accessories to celebrate the new game, with the official Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and Amiibo. More news about the latest Resident Evil game is confirmed in the upcoming Resident Evil Showcase early next year.
