The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom reportedly leaked

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is releasing in mere weeks, but if you thought this meant it would be safe from getting leaked; think again.

Nintendo games often get leaked ahead of release and while we could hope that it’s fake, it seems unlikely with content creator Nintendo Prime confirming the leak on a YouTube video.

Additionally, fellow content creator Zelda Lore warned people of the leaks on Twitter.

Of course, we doubt this will hurt Nintendo’s sales from actual, dedicated fans across the globe, but the bigger issue falls on spoilers. While plenty of proper content creators will refrain from using footage or sharing any footage from the leak, others won’t. No matter how hard the Japanese giant tries, footage will still float around the internet and likely spoiling the ending for many who wanted it to be a surprise.

The only way to really ensure you’re safe from the leaks is to set blocked words relating to the new entry and hope that’s enough, though, some spoilers may slip through the cracks.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom releases exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on September 26.
