Star Wars Outlaws’ first update on Nintendo Switch 2

Ubisoft recently released Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition with well-optimized performance on Nintendo Switch 2. Despite getting decent impressions from reviewers like Digital Foundry, the developer released a performance patch to improve the Star Wars experience to its fullest.

The update enhances the game’s graphics, gameplay stability, camera, and UI; there are also improvements to the game’s story packs, including Wild Card and A Pirate’s Fortune.

The developer will continue to update the game when necessary in the future and provide updates via social media like Twitter. There’s also a demo being developed for anyone to try at a later date on the Nintendo Switch 2.

In our review of Star Wars Outlaws, Daniel Leal said: “I think I have to add is that the game and story are best enjoyed by someone who is a Star Wars fan. You’ll still have fun with the gameplay if you aren’t a fan, but maybe knock a point or two off the score if you hate Star Wars. Above all, I feel Star Wars Outlaws is a game that can make almost any type of gamer feel like they are playing as Kay in the Star Wars universe.”
