Red Dead Redemption 2 eyes new platform release this year

Rockstar’s beloved cowboy game, Red Dead Redemption 2, might be releasing to current-gen platforms sometime in late summer. While the rumor was put in place last month, it’s only spurred on thanks to another well-known leaker stepping up to corroborate.

Last month, Gamereactor alleged the title was in development for the Switch 2 alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Now, though, established insider Nate the Hate is corroborating this RDR2 rumor, stating that Rockstar will probably reveal the re-release soon.

As for release window, it’s between late summer or early fall, so that puts itself around September to October. Of note, Red Dead Redemption 2 is among the top 15 on Smash Jump’s best 100 games of all-time.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available right now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
