Plants vs. Zombies remaster is on the way complete with co-op

Fans got confirmation of a remaster of the classic tower defense mobile title, Plants vs. Zombies, heading to current-gen platforms. Oh yeah, you can pre-order Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted right now.

Announced during the recent Partner Showcase, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted remasters the title to better fit modern (and previous-gen) hardware. It also has local co-op alongside PvP. It says nothing about whether online play will come packaged in, is coming later, or if it will at all.

Pop Cap’s classic tower defense game has been having a hard time capturing its audience with its multiple attempts at releasing Plants vs. Zombies 3, so perhaps this is its means to test if people are still interested in the classic style.

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted releases to the PC, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S on October 23 and is available for pre-order right now.
