Nintendo Switch Online adds a Japanese SNES exclusive and other titles

Nintendo continues to expand its Nintendo Switch Online service with new retro games. This month brings three new SNES games for fans of puzzles and action, including a Japanese exclusive.

Nintendo posted the announcement for the Japanese exclusive that’s finally coming out of Japan for the first time; Mario & Wario. It’s an action puzzle game that lets players listen to Mario’s plight after Wario blinds him with a bucket. There are over 100 challenges where the player will control a forest fairy to guide the bewildered plumber to his brother, Luigi. The game requires mouse controls to interact with Mario’s surroundings, like conjuring platforms or breaking obstacles.

Bubsy In: Claws Encountered of the Furred Kind is a family-friendly platformer with Bubsy traveling through 16 gimmicky levels to search for his balls of yarn. He’s equipped with claws, cat-like reflexes, and a loud mouth to face several adversaries, including the thieving Woolies.

Fatal Fury Special is a fighting game that mixes the expanded rosters of the original Fatal Fury and Fatal Fury 2 with the series’ improved battle mechanics involving the two-lane battle. It also hosts Wolfgang Krauser as a new boss and other secrets relating to the Art Of The Fighting franchise.
