New top-down roguelite Earl vs. The Mutants launches in July

Falling State Inc. is readying to launch its action-roguelite, Earl vs. The Mutants later this year. The concept is simple — you’re Earl and you mow down mutants in your growing garage of vehicles.

Described as a “chaotic, top-down action roguelite” in a recent press release, the game lets you collect loot, upgrade vehicles, and of course, mow down hordes of mutants, with the ultimate goal of survival.

Unlike other more methodical roguelites, Earl vs. The Mutants demands you throw yourself into the hordes with everything from just the hood of your car to a swinging spiked ball and chain attached to your ride.

The game had previously had a playable demo during Steam Next Fest. Be ready for this post-apocalyptic ride of your life, we’re sure when it launches on July 11.
