New soulslike Deathbound is heading to console

The party-based Soulslike Deathbound is heading to consoles alongside its release on PC across the big trio of PC game publishers — Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. This Soulslike drops you into a world full of “appalling creatures and unyielding warriors.”

In a recent press release, it went into more detail about its simultaneous release with PC and the we should expect to be dropped into. We still have no release date, outside of the 2024 window.

Smash Jump’s Luke Gittens got some hands-on time with Deathbound and found it to be a “breath of fresh air.” He praised it for balancing the Soulslike controls that feel easy for a veteran of the genre to get used to and also easy for a newbie to get a grasp of. It also feels innovative for the genre.
