New botanist sim, Botany Manor, is out now

Balloon Studios’ botanist simulator, Botany Manor, is out now retailing for $24.99 on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The game is pretty good fare, especially for those with a green thumb, if you’re okay with the price and length of the game.

Let yourself explore the grounds of the 19th century manor that your must tend to as you solve many plant-based puzzles to progress. Featuring a calm soundtrack, this game isn’t such a bad deal for the price you pay, just be warned, it’s a little on the short side.

Smash Jump’s Brandon Farris reviewed the game, saying it’s “short and delightful,” while also noting its failure to “create a truly memorable experience,” but capped off by saying “Botany Manor is worth the purchase for players interested in the puzzle genre and cozy games,” though noted it’s especially worth it if it’s discounted, or in the case of PC and Xbox gamers, on Game Pass.
