New Arkane game announced… and it’s a Marvel game

True to the rumor, Arkane Studios has tapped Lyon to develop a new game, but this isn’t quite what people expected. Instead of another Dishonored, it’s Marvel’s Blade. It’s an interestingly bold move considering PlayStation’s cornerstone in the Spider-Man franchise, yet a Microsoft-owned studio helms this one.

It isn’t clear if this game will release on PlayStation or remain an exclusive on Xbox and PC. If we had to guess, it’s likely to remain an Xbox-only console experience. After all, since contractual obligations subsided with Ghostwire: Tokyo and Deathloop, Bethesda’s library of studios has released nothing for PS fans.

The reveal came with a short trailer of Blade getting his beard trimmed with a nervous barber shaking amid a half-vampire right there in front of him. Watch it below.
