Moon Studios goes full indie, banking on new game, No Rest for the Wicked

Previously known for the Ori games, Moon Studios is banking on its top-down action RPG, No Rest for the Wicked, to propel it to success. That is to say, it’s agreed to a purchasing deal from Take-Two Interactive.

In a dev diary (via MP1st), the studio unveiled its purchase, allowing it to continue its vision without obstruction from bigger publishers.

“We have secured the publishing rights for No Rest for the Wicked, allowing us to execute our vision without restrictions.”

No Rest for Wicked follows Cerim, a member of a group of holy warriors who have traveled to Isola Sacra feel it’s their duty to rid the world of the “Pestilence,” a plague that has been dormant for thousands of years.

No Rest for the Wicked is currently available in Early Access on PC, but it also plans on a console release in the future.
