Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater may launch in November

Following the gameplay trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater during the Xbox Games Showcase, many were questioning when it would finally get a release date. For a brief period, fans got their answers.

Briefly on Monday, GameStop accidentally dropped what would no doubt be a post on X closer to its release date, which is apparently poised for November 17. Unsurprisingly, it’s since been taken down, but it can be seen below thanks to GamingBolt. The release date also may not be the most accurate as it could very have been delayed internally.

Back in May, Dealabs unveiled that the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater may have been delayed into next year, but of course, that’s all just rumors. That said, it would make sense to hold off on major releases on Konami’s part considering it’s already got a huge release slated for October — Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake. Delta could very easily be overshadowed by the game heading out not much longer after its release.

At least we know it’s in development and some cool stuff has emerged lately thanks to the recent showcase, like the ability to toggle between modern and classic control schemes.
