The special release included exclusive items with designs that fell below customer expectations, leaving them disappointed. The overall poor reception has influenced the newly led company to pause its upcoming shipments and redo production of the Sonic and Shadow Dreamcast Statue.
To keep the Sonic fans updated about the status of the Sonic x Shadows Generations Collector’s Edition, Limited Run Games has announced its new production blog. The process is described to take a while, giving the company a few months to fix and stock the new statues. Customers who have already received their Sonic x Shadows Generations Collector’s Edition can make the following choices emailed by LRG, including earning a refund. The company promises another update for the new Sonic x Shadows Generations Collector’s Edition by March 20, 2026.
