Lies of P sequel could be open world

After the massive success of Lies of P, it is no secret that developer NEOWIZ is interested in expanding the universe. A new job posting indicates what may be coming next.

The job listing from NEOWIZ indicates that the sequel to their 2023 hit game Lies of P could be open-world. Posted on the developer’s site, the listing indicates that they are looking for a Field Level Designer with ‘Extensive experience playing open-world games’.

It seems like NEOWIZ is taking quite a few points from FromSoftware’s smash hit Elden Ring, which featured an open world for the first time in a Souls-like game. With the sequel already confirmed to be on the way, and now this, it’s interesting to see how Lies of P 2 – if that’s its title – will push the genre forward.
