Kirby Air Riders team plans to disband shortly after one more new update

Kirby Air Riders was designed to release as a full gaming package for fans to enjoy the nostalgic franchise. It recently balanced the riders and machines with the update patch 1.2.0, along with several fixes for its main modes and gameplay mechanics. Since there’s no DLC or expansion passes planned, its development team will disband in the near future.

Sakurai is currently finalizing necessary adjustments to make Kirby Air Riders enjoyable for years to come. There is a chance for the game to receive another balance patch, but it won’t have a long-lasting support schedule.
