Grand Theft Auto 6 narrows in on fall 2025 release window

Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 6 is poised for a fall 2025 release window. From the initial trailer, we knew it was releasing sometime next year, but no timeframe was given.

During its recent Q4 fiscal report, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick narrowed in on fall 2025 for the long-running controversial IP. It’s also confident Rockstar will produce an “unparalleled entertainment experience,” while also believing it will foster “new levels of success,” with years of growth ahead of it.

We’ve yet to get a full grasp of the story, but we know some things like how it’ll feature a female protagonist, will take place in Vice City, and at this moment, appears to be a console exclusive game, with no PC version anywhere in sight. We’re sure, though, it will sometime in the future, though.
