Granblue Fantasy: Relink fosters second best-selling game on Steam right now

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is off to a fantastic start since its launch a few days ago, boasting an impressive concurrent player count rivaled only by the ever-present Palworld.

The folks at Eurogamer took a gander at the action RPG’s SteamDB player count, noting that its peak player count was 114,054, ranking it just below the current #1 holder — Monster Hunter: World — in the action RPG category. In terms of all of Steam games, though, its sales on the platform only play second fiddle to Pocketpair’s monstrously successful — and expensive to developPalworld.

Granblue fans certainly have been eating good lately, considering the last entry aside from Relink was last year’s Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The high sale numbers shouldn’t surprise us, considering the glowing reviews it’s been receiving. In our own review, we called Granblue Fantasy: Relink “one of the best games of early 2024.”
