Elden Ring DLC and spin-off tops new sale milestones

The success story that is FromSoftware’s Elden Ring continues to grow as the award-winning game’s DLC and recently released spin-off keep it alive.

Bandai Namco shared (via IGN) that Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree toppled 10 million copies while its recently released co-op spin-off, Elden Ring: Nightreign, finds success with five million copies sold so far. Meanwhile, its base game stands at 30 million.

It’s not too surprising that this award-winning title seems to be the hot thing for FromSoft and Bandai Namco right now, especially as A24 is adapting it into a film with Alex Garland set to direct. We, of course, did review both Shadow of the Erdtree and Nightreign, both of which were solid continuations of the Elden Ring formula.
