Crimson Desert developers apologizes for in-game controls and use of AI

Pearl Abyss recently published several messages in response to the growing complaints about the current version of Crimson Desert. One of the major issues comes from PC players dealing with the awkward keyboard and mouse controls. The developers apologized for the lackluster PC control layout before promising an upcoming fix.

Another huge issue was discovered through in-game paintings. The artwork appeared inconsistently designed, similar to the creations from generative AI. The developers have confirmed the need for generative AI during the early stages of development to hasten the process. They were meant to be placeholders, though they were left in the game’s launch version with no mention of using AI in the game’s description. The developers are working on updating in-game models to replace the work of AI through some patches. The studio’s also looking forward to follow additional major feedback to improve the experience of the Crimson Desert.
