CM Punk returns to the WWE game ring for the first time in a decade

Pro wrestler CM Punk (or Phil Brooks) is returning to a WWE game for the first time in a decade. He’ll come as DLC bundled with The Sandman, Terry Funk, and The Dudley Boyz.

The official Twitter account revealed the news. Slated to release next week, the ECW Punk Pack will see his return in digital form after exiting WWE under “controversial circumstances” back in 2014. WWE 2K15 was his last appearance largely due to the game’s showcase mode, which 2K was unable to de-Punk.

Last year, though, Punk returned to the stage with the outfit he donned being the attire he’ll wear in the game. It’s unclear if any other outfits will be available for him or his fellow DLC wrestlers.

2K has a total of five DLC packs planned throughout the year, with this first one dropping on May 15.
