Capcom’s official response to the new pay-per-view streaming policy

Capcom Esports has previously announced the details for CAPCOM CUP 12 and Street Fighter League: World Championship 2025, including its live streaming. The pay-per-view policy has caused huge backlash online, which made the team step out to explain the finalized decision.

Capcom Esports explained how the policy will help to manage the competitive scene for the long term. The team is required to continue through the policy, though it recognized the fanbase’s growing concerns. In response, the reveal of pay-per-view tickets is delayed to discuss the final details regarding the pay-per-view live streaming. The Pay-Per-View tickets of Street Fighter League: Pro-JP Playoffs & Grand Finals will open for sale on November 12 as previously announced.
