Black Myth: Wukong wins Best Action Adventure

Game Science’s Black Myth: Wukong takes home Best Action Adventure award at this year’s The Smash Jump Awards. The debut soulslike has made waves in the gaming community for all the right reasons.

During The Smash Jump Awards, we awarded the game the award alongside others across the 17-minute show. Despite controversy and a lack of an Xbox release, the game did crazy well, and playing it shows exactly why. It was a game that felt like a game.

With its winning spot, it beat out Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.

In our review we said: “Black Myth: Wukong is a technical feat that deserves attention. Not only does it deliver on outstanding graphical settings, it also sends players to different locations and environments that all look just as stunning as the last.”
