BioWare dashes hopes for Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC

Traditionally, BioWare has been a studio to drop at least one DLC per game, but it looks like that’s not the plan for Dragon Age: The Veilguard as focus shifts to Mass Effect 5. Obviously, it’s still gonna be supported with quality-of-life improvements and balancing patches, though.

As Rolling Stone reports, the plan is to move forward to the next Mass Effect as its current project. It may be a shock to see no DLC for a BioWare game, after all, basically all of its games have nabbed DLC, including previous Dragon Age titles, such as the beloved Trespasser DLC.

Now, it’s worth noting that it’s not impossible that this is just to keep things under wraps and a DLC is in development that may just not be ready to be in the public conscious. That said, while its critical reception is favorable (with a review from us coming later down the line), its audience reception has been lackluster.
