Assassin’s Creed Shadows encounters major spoilers as game leaks

Following another delay to fix up the parkour, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is facing a new problem ahead of its March 20 release date. It appears some people are managing to acquire physical — and at once case digital — copies of the game early.

In a very spoiler-ridden video for both Shadows and Valhalla (you’ve been warned), it seems like Animus Anomalies are still appearing again following its introduction in Valhalla. This is from The Hidden Ones (via GamingBolt), who alleges to have seen gameplay from someone who is currently playing through the game due to a mistake on PlayStation’s part.

Now, this info about mechanics appearing should be taken with a massive grain of salt, especially since we already know Sony can lock and even killswitch unintended releases, just look what it did to Stellar Blade (via PSX Extreme). That said, it also wouldn’t be too surprising if it does return.
