Assassin’s Creed Mirage gets surprise DLC this year

We doubt many truly had “Ubisoft announcing DLC for its 2023 Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage” on their bingo card, but here we are. It’s not too surprising for those keeping up with AC, though, as reports from earlier in the year pointed to extra content for Mirage.

Ubisoft announced it on social media, giving us a sample of where we are and all that fun stuff. Set in 9th-century AlUla, it will feature a new story chapter, missions, and even offer up some broader gameplay improvements for the base game. The best part is this DLC is absolutely free.

Considering Ubisoft has been gung-ho on Assassin’s Creed Shadows, it’s kinda nice to see more content coming to Mirage, though, it stems from direct investments from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, so it’s certainly seen as a touch controversial.
