Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance rated in Korea, contains new content

A complete edition of Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance has been rated in Korea. The listing has since been removed, unfortunately.

Gematsu reports it is set to be a complete edition of the 2021 Switch exclusive with improvements and additional content. This is to say unlike previous follow-ups of mainline Shin Megami Tensei games, it sounds like Vengance is just an expanded re-release as opposed to a whole new sequel.

The leak comes at a particularly interesting time as Nintendo is currently facing a rumor spreading about its Partner Showcase getting a revival this week, which turned out to be true. Revealing a re-release with Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance in forefront would certainly be a perfect kicking off point of a Partner Showcase. But, we’ll have to wait and see just how much weight this rumor has.
