Denshattack! releasing June 17 on all main platforms, demo out now

Picture Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater meets Crazy Taxi with a sprinkle of Jet Set Radio on top. You don’t have to imagine that anymore, because the whacky folks at Undercoders didn’t ask themselves if they could, they just went ahead and did it.

Denshattack! is described as an off-the-rails platformer where you master trick systems across 50+ levels, outmatch rival gangs, wreck a shady megacorp, and race your train toward legendary status across a colourful Japanese dystopia.

Denshattack! is also a love letter to Japan. You will travel from the countryside of Kyushu through the metropolises of Osaka, Tokyo, and more. Each new region holds new challenges as you make across these in an over-world map.

Denshattack! made a special appearance in the March Nintendo Indie World showcase, where the official release date has been confirmed for June 17. The whacky 3D platformer comes to PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

While the summer release is still a way off, Denshattack! is already causing plenty of excitement in the community thanks to its demo. That’s right, you too can jump in on the fun right now since the Denshattack! demo is out on Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam. After jumping in on the fun myself, I fully understand the hype. Stay tuned for more Japanese train madness as we get closer to release date.
