New Season confirmed for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves recently completed its first season pass of characters. The fanbase wondered about the game’s future development until a surprising leak for Season 2. The unofficial reveal confirmed four fighters joining the roster in the upcoming months, including Kim Jae Hoon appearing on January 22, 2026.

The leak did appear shortly before SNK’s official trailer, though the trailer confirmed more support for the Fatal Fury’s competitive community. The developers are bringing more highly prized tournaments and balance changes during the new season. The 1.7.2 update patch will adjust the gameplay and characters for a refreshed experience when Season 2 launches its first character.

The last two fighters in the new roadmap are hidden as surprises. SNK recently teased the next possible fighter with a trailer showcasing a mysterious fighter, having a huge resemblance to the Fist of the North Star. Having new guest characters for the latest Fatal Fury is a huge welcome, though more confirmed details about the upcoming support will come later.
